The Second Steelmaking Plant of Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd. covers an area of 281137 square meters. It was built in August 1987 and achieved full continuous casting in August 1996. Currently, it has three 210 ton converters, two molten iron desulfurization stations, one LF ladle refining furnace, and one CAS-OB refining furnace, with an annual production capacity of 5 million tons of steel.
