The Second Steelmaking Plant of Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd. covers an area of 281137 square meters and is equipped with 5 sets of eight flow square billet continuous casting machines and 1 set of double flow curved slab continuous casting machine. The project was constructed from 1987 to 1994, with a designed annual production capacity of 1.2 million to 4.5 million tons of steel billets. Installation of 12000 tons of construction equipment, renovation of 2437 tons, and demolition of 3280 tons. Steel structure installation of 1.4 million tons. Completed in 1994.
