The Shougang Third Wire Rod Factory, constructed by Shoujian Group in 1991, has a building area of 96700 square meters, steel structure installation of 11000 tons, mechanical and electrical equipment of 6746 tons, and four wire rolling mills imported from Belgium, including Morgan style roughing and intermediate rolling mills, Steyr controlled cooling lines, and precision rolling mills.

       The project started in November 1991 and was completed in May 1993. Design an annual production scale of 1.2 million tons of wire rod.
