The steel-making and lime kiln works of Algeria's Phase IV short process green low-carbon integrated steel plant project are located in Arze region, Oran Province, Algeria, and the owner is Türkiye Tosyali Group. The project mainly involves the construction of one 240 ton electric furnace, two 240 ton ladle furnaces, one VDOB refining furnace, and one 3.4 million ton two machine two flow slab continuous casting machine, as well as supporting public and auxiliary facilities. The steelmaking workshop produces 2.3 million tons of molten steel annually, and the continuous casting workshop produces 2.15 million tons of steel billets annually. The project will commence construction in January 2023 and be completed and put into operation in May 2024.
