The 2016 Tiananmen Square National Day themed flower bed underwent 8 consecutive days of construction by Beijing Shougang Construction Group, completing all component transportation, assembly, and hoisting processes.

      The theme of the square flower bed is "Blessing to the Motherland". The overall height of the flower basket is about 17.2 meters (the base of the flower bed is 1.2 meters high and the basket body is 16 meters high), and the outer diameter of the flowers is about 50 meters. The basket is embedded with the words' Blessings to the Motherland 'and' Celebrating National Day '.
