From March 25th to April 5th, 2011, and from April 6th to April 15th, 2011, Shougang Jingtang Company's 2 # and 1 # 2150 slab continuous casting machines underwent a 10 day shutdown for annual maintenance. Shougang Construction Group completed all annual maintenance tasks on schedule, smoothly, safely, and with quality assurance. The annual maintenance involves the entire continuous casting area, ranging from the 13.6-meter area to the sector section area to the rear billet discharge area, from underground to above ground (-6.4 meters, 0 meters, 4.2 meters, 8.2 meters, 13.6 meters, 52 meters, etc.), involving mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, automation, lubrication, water, gas and other systems, and some equipment has also been modified. After the annual maintenance, both continuous casting machines were successfully hot tested in one go. After being put into production, the quality of the slab and the stability of the equipment have greatly improved, and all equipment is operating normally with stable production.

       The implementation of the annual maintenance project for the 2150 slab continuous casting machine of Shougang Jingtang Company fully proves that Shougang Construction Group has the ability to carry out annual maintenance of continuous casting equipment and can provide high-quality and efficient services to the owner units.
