In order to meet the air supply needs of the blast furnace, from February 20th to March 5th, 2012, Shougang Construction Group dismantled and repaired the 4 # AV100 axial compressor at the request of the Power Operation Department of Shougang Qiangang Company. The compressor has a total length of about 17m and a height of about 3.5m. The total weight of the casing is about 100t, including an upper cover of about 36t, regulating cylinders (upper and lower) of about 6t each, blade cylinders (upper and lower) of about 6t each, and a rotor of about 32t. The main components include: casing, blade bearing cylinder, regulating cylinder, rotor, inlet ring, diffuser, bearing box, oil seal, bearing, servo motor, base, etc.
The maintenance of this equipment requires strong professional skills, extremely high precision in disassembly and assembly, extremely high precision in the position of the blade bearing cylinder and regulating cylinder of the unit, very precise scraping and grinding of the main bearing tile, and high precision in the adjustment of various parts. Shougang Construction Group completed the mid maintenance on time and smoothly, with a successful trial run, completely solving the problem of many faults that could not meet the normal supply of blast furnace air.
