The seawater desalination project of Shougang Jingtang Company is independently designed, manufactured, constructed, and operated by Shougang. The first phase of the project has a seawater desalination capacity of 50000 tons per day, which is the world's first 10000 ton thermal electric water cogeneration seawater desalination device, filling the domestic technological gap. The future planned production capacity is 4 million tons per day, which can supply water to the capital and surrounding cities.
